We have only 2 weeks before our Thanksgiving break… Here are some of our meetings and learning events scheduled between now and the holiday.

This coming Monday, November 14th we have two events scheduled. At 10:30 our Leaders Lunch, Learn, & Collaborate session will focus on evidence of learning and will lead into the presentation Tracy will give at our Board meeting next Friday, November 18th.

Our Technology and Communication Committee will also be meeting on Monday, November 14th at 11:30. At that meeting we will discuss the options for storing and providing access to the resources we have built over time. Many of our resources have not been available to members since our e-libraries were taken down from EduPlanet21. Our committee is discussing the pros and cons to using Google Classroom. If you have other suggestions, please email me or just join us for our committee meeting.

Also next week, we have a PD Committee meeting scheduled for Thursday, November 17th but we are in the process of rescheduling that meeting.

And finally, as mentioned previously, we have a Board meeting scheduled for next Friday, November 18th. Since we had to postpone our October Board meeting, we have a full agenda for this month, including some important financial business, a presentation from Tracy Fasick on how they are using Badging, and a focused review session on how you are finding ways to build instructional capacity and how your teachers/learning facilitators are becoming “learning specialists”.
